As one of the most rapidly evolving fields, additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is revolutionizing various industries, including aerospace, healthcare, automotive, and more. ICAAMT 2024 provides a dynamic platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research, emerging trends, and practical applications in additive manufacturing technologies. The conference fosters collaboration between academia and industry, encouraging the development of new techniques, materials, and processes that push the boundaries of what is possible in manufacturing. We invite original research papers, case studies, and innovative contributions that address challenges, opportunities, and future directions in additive manufacturing. Join us at ICAAMT 2024 to showcase your work, network with professionals in the field, and contribute to shaping the future of manufacturing.

All papers that are accepted, registered, and presented will be published in SCOPUS-indexed proceedings and journals, with the support of our esteemed Publication Partners. Additionally, special issues of journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, ESCI, and SCIE will also be available.

All papers must adhere strictly to the author’s guidelines. Before submission, manuscripts should be thoroughly reviewed to eliminate any grammatical or typographical errors

The manuscript should be six pages long and follow a dual-column format. Additionally, the content and contributions within the paper should not have been disseminated, accepted, or published in any journal or conference proceedings, nor should they be under review elsewhere

Double-Blind Peer Review Process

The double-blind peer review process at ICAAMT 2024 ensures that each submission is evaluated objectively and fairly, focusing solely on the quality and originality of the work. Below is a step-by-step procedure detailing how this process is conducted: Step 1: Manuscript Submission Author Submission:

Authors submit their manuscripts through the conference’s online submission system. They are instructed to remove any identifying information from the manuscript, including names, affiliations, and acknowledgments. Submission Checklist: Authors must confirm that the manuscript is anonymized and that all personal details have been removed or replaced with placeholders.

Step 2: Initial Screening by the Editorial Team

Compliance Check: The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure that the manuscript adheres to the conference’s formatting guidelines and that all identifying information has been adequately removed. Anonymization Verification: If any identifying information is found, the manuscript is sent back to the authors for further anonymization before proceeding to the review stage.

Step 3: Assignment of Reviewers

Reviewer Selection: The editorial board selects two or more reviewers who have expertise in the specific area of additive manufacturing technology addressed by the manuscript. Blind Assignment: Reviewers are assigned without any knowledge of the authors’ identities, and the manuscript is sent to them in its anonymized form.

Step 4: Peer Review Process

Independent Review: Reviewers independently evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference themes, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field of additive manufacturing.

Constructive Feedback: Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations, focusing on how the manuscript can be improved or what specific issues need to be addressed. Step 5: Reviewers Submit Reports

Feedback Submission: After completing their reviews, reviewers submit their reports through the online system. They provide an overall recommendation (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) along with their detailed feedback.Confidentiality Maintained: Throughout this process, the reviewers’ identities remain hidden from the authors to maintain objectivity.

Step 6: Editorial Decision

Consolidation of Reviews: The editorial team reviews the feedback from all reviewers and makes a decision on the manuscript. If the reviewers’ recommendations differ significantly, the editorial team may seek additional opinions.

Decision Communication:

The decision is communicated to the authors, along with anonymized reviewer comments. Possible outcomes include: Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted as is.

Minor Revision:

Authors are requested to make small changes based on reviewer feedback.

Major Revision:

Significant changes are required, and the revised manuscript may undergo another round of review.

Rejection:

he manuscript does not meet the conference’s standards or scope.

Step 7: Revision and Resubmission (if applicable)

Author Revisions: If revisions are requested, authors must respond to reviewer comments and submit a revised version of their manuscript.Second Review (if needed): Depending on the extent of the revisions, the manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers or new reviewers for further evaluation.

Step 8: Final Decision and Notification

Final Evaluation: After revisions are satisfactorily completed, the editorial team makes the final decision on the manuscript’s acceptance. Notification to Authors: Authors are informed of the final decision, and successful submissions are prepared for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Step 9: Conference Presentation

Preparation for Presentation: Accepted papers are scheduled for presentation at ICAAMT, where authors will share their research findings with peers and experts in the field. Proceedings Publication: Accepted and presented papers are published in the conference proceedings, contributing to the body of knowledge in additive manufacturing technologies. This double-blind peer review process ensures that all submissions to ICAAMT are reviewed fairly and impartially, maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and contributing to the advancement of additive manufacturing technologies.
