About the CenteR:

The Center for materials research is engaged in research and development activities in the broad areas in the areas of polymeric & organic materials, composite & structural materials, advanced materials characterization & fabrication.

Vision:

To be Nationally and globally recognized in cutting-edge research and innovation related to development of advanced materials and technology solutions to the benefit of society.

Mission:

  • To create new materials and new knowledge about materials phenomena
  • To prepare the next generation of materials researchers
  • To promote interdisciplinary research in the field of material science.
  • To launch necessary instrumentation facilities for advanced functional materials research

Position Educational Qualification Publication record
Scientists Ph.D in Materials Science/Engineering or related field with exceptional research records. Minimum of 20 research articles in Journals (SCIE) or a combined impact factor of 25 and above or       h-Index of 25 and above.
Senior Research Fellow Basic and Applied Science group: Ph.D in Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry or related field With 2 years Research experience. Minimum of 5 research articles in Journals (SCIE) or a combined impact factor of 10 and above or h-Index of 7 and above.
Engineering and Technology group: Ph.D in Engineering preferably  in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering/ Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or related field. Minimum of 3 research articles in Journals (SCIE) or a combined impact factor of 6 and above or h-Index of 5 and above.
Junior Research Fellow Basic and Applied Science group: M.Sc. Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry or related field. Candidate those who have submitted the thesis are also eligible to apply. Minimum of 3 research articles in Journals (SCIE) or a combined impact factor of 6 and above or h-Index of 5 and above.
Engineering and Technology group: ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering/ Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or related field. Minimum of 2 research articles in Journals (SCIE) or a combined impact factor of 2 and above or h-Index of 2 and above.
